RAE ASPHALTS LTD

Rae Asphalts has been a name around town for more than 40 years.  The company was founded in 1980 by the late Brent Rae who identified a real need for quality earthworks in rural Hawke's Bay.  With a background in roading, topdressing and business ownership -  the necessary foundations were all there to create a well respected business, which it remains to be today with son Matt now at the helm. 

 

Matt has worked the business since he was a teenager.  Over the years Rae Asphalts has become well known in the region for preparing quality sites including driveways, tennis courts, footpaths, car parks, subdivisions and vehicle crossings for a wide range of surfaces (concrete, chip seal, hot mix or straight metal finish).

Rae Asphalts is pretty much a one stop shop for site levelling and foundation excavation, offering backfilling of sites including house sites, driveways, access tracks and sub soil levelling to design requirements.

STMS traffic management accreditation and an excellent track record makes Rae Asphalts a preferred contractor in Central Hawke's Bay for a range of earthwork solutions including vehicle crossings/entranceway constructions or any job requiring Council satisfaction.

 

Rae Asphalts' diverse fleet includes:  3, 8 & 12 tonne diggers with concrete breaker and post hole borer, grader, dump trucks, truck and trailer, rollers and laser level, which are all available for hire with an operator.

Matt is also a qualified site specific quarry manager, supplying crushed metal in a range of grades.
