Rae Asphalts has been a name around town for more than 45 years, The company was founded in 1980 by the late Brent Rae who identified a real need for quality earthworks in rural Hawke's Bay. With a background in roading, topdressing and business ownership - the necessary foundations were all there to create a well respected business which it remains to be today with son Matt at the helm.

METAL SUPPLY AND CARTAGE

Our substantial sized yard coupled with river access allows us to cart, stockpile and crush a variety of different grades of metal ranging from AP65 sub-base to AP40 base course.

EXCAVATION AND EARTHWORKS

We are a one stop shop for site levelling and foundation excavation. We offer backfilling of sites including: house sites, driveways, access tracks, and sub soil levelling to your design requirements.

Our fleet, consisting of 3, 8 & 12 tonne diggers, post hole borer, grader, dump trucks and rollers, has us fully equipped to tackle any project you throw at us such as your house site, driveway, or tennis court.
